Several years ago, I was at my wits end. I was stressed, rundown and deprived of self-love.
To the public, I looked like a woman who “had it going on.” I had all of the trappings of a superwoman who did all the “right things”. I lived comfortably, had a successful career, good health, I’m fairly attractive and I had friends and family, including a handsome, intelligent husband. For all intents and purposes, I had what most people “think” they want. So, why was I waking up unhappy on most days? Something was missing. I am not an ungrateful person and I acknowledge all my blessings. I remember lying in bed, tears streaming from my eyes and praying to God….”If this is all there is, then I am willing to accept it and live out the rest of my life with this feeling of being incomplete.” That void at the time was unidentified. The feeling of resignation scared me because (1) I wasn’t sure I could really uphold the commitment I was making to God and (2) I am not a quitter. I always felt that there was something more for me but I didn’t know what it was or how to get there. This was the beginning of my transition, because I was finally at a place of surrender. I desperately desired for change. The funny thing is “Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.” (John C. Maxwell) Whether I liked it or not, I was in the middle of a transformation and I didn’t even know it. All the blatant signs were there.

Our Mission and Vision
I established InView Empowerment with Tracey Knight with one mission: To elevate awareness and promote personal growth through engaging interpersonal and multimedia platforms.
The word “empowerment has multiple meanings - “Confidence-building”, “inspiration” and “liberation” - all of which speak to our vision for our work and the world: For every person to feel confident and free to live authentically and inspired to fulfill their purpose.
The path you are preparing to embark upon is yours and no one can do it for yo However, we do want to be your trusted advisor and accountability partner along the way.
People learn in different ways and our lives are getting busier by the day. InView Empowerment offers several ways for you to connect with us and other like-minded individuals, in-person, virtually, literary work.
In-Person Engagement: As a principle, we value human interaction. We know that people are more engaged when they see and hear each other face-to-face. One of the primary benefits of face-to-face interaction is the ability to collaborate and innovate. When two or more are gathered, we have the ability to feed off of each other and come up with creative ideas or solutions to what may seem like difficult and hopeless problems.
Community Engagement: In spite of the massive infusion of technology, we are a social society. It is vitally important that we surround and insulate ourselves with a sphere of people who are caring and moving in the same direction to avoid getting side tracked or discouraged.
Virtual Engagement: When personal meetings are not possible for our participants, we embrace technology, such as high-definition videoconferencing, that most closely emulates human interactions.
When you marry personal interactions with experienced professionals and a strategic process, you are more likely to achieve success.
InView Empowerment employs a very simple
Formula for Transformation and Growth™:
Vision + Courage + Action = Change™
Vision: Your image, concept or visualization of what you desire or what you believe is possible. This includes the identification of your Critical Success Factors—the things that really matter for your success
Courage: Harnessing your intrinsic bravery, resilience and resolve to achieve your vision in spite of fear, vulnerability and obstacles.
Action: Commitment to consistent and strategic forward movement without the expectation of perfection.
Change: An altered state of being that can be contrasted and measured against the original state of being.
Empowerment Groups are a six week series of trainings and group discussions that blends insights and networking with expert, guest speakers. The series builds progressively from one week to the next and requires on average 15-60 minutes of homework after each session.
InView Empowerment Groups are designed to bring about ownership through integrated knowledge, skills and behavior. We work closely with participants to gain clarity and results in a specific area of their life.
Experienced Transformation Coaches guide and encourage participants as they explore all facets of a challenge. Facilitators offer practical support in the development of a step-by-step strategy for achieving the desired outcomes as well as tools that can be used to bring about lasting change.
Mastermind Communities are networks of accountability partners that hold each other responsible for meeting their stated goals. A skilled facilitator helps keep the group focused and progressing.
Masterminds are one of several recommended tools used once a participant has completed an Empowerment Series and is on the road to implementation and systemic change. Each community sets its own schedule however, groups typically meet weekly, bi-monthly or monthly.
The benefits of join an InView Empowerment’s Mastermind Community includes:
(1) You’ll be part of an exclusive community where everyone needs each other to be successful in achieving their goals;
(2) You’ll rid yourself of the feeling of being alone as you go through the process because you will have a team of trusted peer advisors and collaborators;
(3) You will extend your network to include people with unique in skill, experience and connections. By interacting and sharing your challenges, it’s almost certain that someone in your Mastermind will have a solution for you and you may also be able to offer a solution, connection or tactic to help another in the group.
Webinars/Workshops are single sessions focused on a very specific topic.
These 60-minute trainings get participants fully involved in the learning process: small and large group discussions, activities, opportunities to practice applying the concepts that are presented and recommended self-paced exercises are given at the end of the workshop to increase learning.

Life was knocking me over the head and forcing me to sit up and take notice. It was my choice as to whether or not I would accept its blaring albeit vital message. Therefore I chose to set aside my “fairytale checklist for a perfect life” and sought help. Thank goodness I stumbled upon Malane Shani who would soon become my life coach. Malane was a tough cookie and she pulled no punches when it came to helping me confront my darkest truths. It was just what I needed at the time. I spent a little over a year in one-on-one coaching and – let me tell you – the road was not paved with daisies and pixie dust. It did, however, include plenty of joy and laughter – something I hadn’t consistently felt in a while. It was a lot of hard work and tears but I came out on the other end with a greater understanding of who I am – authentically; a greater appreciation and respect for my purpose as a teacher; and embracing the life-long process of loving and accepting myself – just as I am. Now I am being called to not only share my story in hopes that it will be a beacon of hope for someone but I also want to pay forward that which Malane gave to me.
At my core, I am both a teacher and a life-long learner. I believe that life is our classroom and our assignments are those challenging experiences that confront us along the way and present an opportunity for growth. We continuously get the same types of encounters until we grasp the lesson. The solution usually has something to do with loving ourselves. The people in our lives are our classmates and they are present for “a reason, a season or a life time”. They make the coursework exciting, tolerable or challenging - depending on their role. Once we have mastered one set of assignments, we advance to the next grade and so the story goes. Much like when we were actually in grade school, we are likely exhibiting some of the same behaviors in the School of Life. There is the “conflict-avoider” or “procrastinator” who waits until the last minute to do his/her homework. Mr. / Ms. Studious who tries to be the example of “perfection” but experiences undo stress because of the amount of pressure it takes avoid failure. Finally, there is the student who has checked-out mentally and emotionally, just going through the motion day-in and day-out allowing themselves to take whatever grade life brings them. While this is not an exhaustive list, it is a great metaphor and an invitation to begin exploring where you are and where you want to be in your life.
"I always felt that there was something more for me but I didn’t know what it was or how to get there."
TESTIMONIAL FROM ONE OF OUR CLIENTS:
"So often we are touched in ways that may seem small and insignificant at the time but later prove to be an important catalysts for self-growth and change. My introduction to Tracey proved to be just that for me. Tracey is a genuine, gifted and empathic facilitator who teaches you how to find your own truth by showing you how to separate out fear, guilt and other feelings that interfere with finding your true and authentic self. With her support and encouragement I was able to access my emotions, challenge my false self's beliefs and behaviors. I have found her to be a gifted teacher and one I feel blessed to have met."
